At Teacher Created Resources, we understand that you are facing unprecedented challenges with the current Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. We want to let you know that we are here to support you in any way we can.
We know that almost all of the schools across the country are now closed, and therefore you are in need of quick and easy activities to offer your students or to use with your own children. We have many free activities on our website, and almost all of our books are available as E-books. We’ve also added easy-to-implement activities for parents and caregivers to our site. Please feel free to share this link and activities with other parents and educators to help during this time of school disruption.
Like everyone else, our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and those around us. We are following guidelines from the public health experts who have called for increased social distancing to slow the spread of the virus. We have increased cleaning and sanitation measures, and are staying up to date with the recommendations and guidelines of the CDC and local health officials. We also have most of our staff now working from home. That being said, we understand that you are facing new challenges with educating away from school, so we are keeping the distribution center open and running (albeit with a limited staff) to ship you the materials you need during this difficult time.
These are uncertain times, and there are a lot of unanswered questions and unknowns as of now. We will keep you updated on any new developments as we encounter them.
During this difficult and uncertain time, Teacher Created Resources is committed to continue helping you provide quality education to your students and your own children. We will be adding more lessons and activities to our free resources page. We’ve also now included a free response journal, with prompts specifically geared towards the current situation. Students can use it as a place to record their thoughts and ideas, and share their emotions during this confusing and unpredictable time. The journal is adapted for 1st –8th grades; we will be adding a journal specifically for K–1 later this week.
We understand that you need physical products as well, especially since we don’t know how long schools will be closed. Our distribution center remains open to ship you necessary supplies. Teacher-supply stores are also adjusting their policies to meet educators’ current needs. Many stores are offering curbside pickup and other delivery options. Some are even creating individualized at-home learning kits. Call your local store to find out how they can help and what you can do to get supplies safely. They will be happy to work with you and take all the necessary precautions. And we know they will appreciate your business! Find a retailer near you.
