The Colorado Springs, Colorado-based Space Foundation is offering Peanuts-themed STEM lesson plans, free of charge, to help guide you through teaching your kids the fundamentals of science, technology, engineering and math as they relate to space exploration.
The lesson plans, each of them featuring one of the late Charles Schulz’s lovable Peanuts characters as a guide, address core math and science concepts for grades kindergarten through eight.
There are ten downloadable STEM lesson plans in all, each one covering a space-themed aspect of science, tech and exploration. There are also ten ‘Apollo cards,’ summarizing the crews and missions of Apollo 7 through 17.
